Rabuka says Mara should return to Fiji

NewsTalk ZB News - 17 May 2011

The man who staged the first coup in Fiji thinks Tevita Mara should do the right thing and return to Fiji.
Lieutenant-Colonel Mara, who is related to the Tongan Royal family, fled there after being charged with mutiny and sedition in Fiji.
Former Fijian Prime Minister and military commander Sitiveni Rabuka told Radio Tarana like all responsible citizens, Colonel Mara must face the courts.
"Perhaps he has his own doubts about the balance in the courts but that is a personal thing on his mind."
Sitiveni Rabuka says it would be very sad if the case damages international relations between Tonga and Fiji, which he says have enjoyed a very good relationship throughout history.
