COUPS DO NOT HELP OUR COUNTRY FIJI

Posted on Matavuvale.com - 08 April 2010

Vanuatu has had very good macro-economic management, political stability. It's done well in things like agriculture, construction, tourism and so forth and actually it has been an indirect beneficiary of what's happening in Fiji, because many tourists from Australia and New Zealand rather than going to Fiji are ending up in Vanuatu,” Nehru said.

“So it goes to show that if countries do get their acts together, even though they are disadvantaged by distance and size, they can still do well by attracting investment and by attracting tourists and by being able to export.”

In response to above World Bank prospects for Vanuatu...here someone laments Fiji's prospects under the Illegal and Unelected regime in power today..

The operative word here is EXPECTS...there is NO GUARANTEE in that...it's just an expectation, which means the result will actually determine if the growth is REAL or NOT!!!

After four years with STOLEN power, there is NOT MUCH GROWTH to show for it except for their decrees and draconian rule by FORCE!!!!

And while we wallow in desperation and destitution, the good country of Vanuatu (God bless them!!!), tiny in size from ours takes advantage of our COUPSTERS for their great benefit..for their people now and their future generation. Well done! Vanuatu.

As for the military regime, DON"T BLAME THE global economic woes as the reason for ours...YOUR COUP EXACERBATED OUR ECONOMIC WOES because Look!!! Vanuatu is benefiting from your rape of our democracy as told here.

“Vanuatu has had very good macro-economic management,
political stability. It's done well in things like agriculture, construction, tourism and so forth and actually it has been an indirect beneficiary of what's happening in Fiji, because many tourists from Australia and New Zealand rather than going to Fiji are ending up in Vanuatu,” Nehru said.

And further....

“So it goes to show that
if countries do get their acts together, even though they are disadvantaged by distance and size, they can still do well by attracting investment and by attracting tourists and by being able to export.”

COUPS DO NOT HELP OUR COUNTRY IN GETTING OUR ACT TOGETHER, IT JUST FURTHER PROLONGS POVERTY, DICTATORSHIP AND SOCIAL/ECONOMIC PROBLEMS!!! DUH!!!
