Voreqe you are to Blame and No one Else

Fiji to withdraw from Pacific trade agreements - 07/08/2009

Sai Comment:

- Here we go again- Voreqe blaming the world but his ignorant and arrogant self for Fiji's exclusion from trade and other talks involving Pacific island nations. He is so bent on running Fiji and its people to the ground, just to hold on to power and prolong his illegal rule. One thing is for sure- His time will come and either he will be removed at the point of a gun or by those close to him when they know what is best for them, their families and fellow Fijians. Anyone out there want to be paid to be a hero for Fiji? This question has increasingly being asked and takers are increasingly coming forward right in Fiji and elsewhere- Mark this Voreqe!

Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama has today revealed that Fiji will withdraw from the Pacific trade agreements PICTA and PACER. This follows the Pacific Islands Leaders Forum's decision to leave Fiji out of the PACER Plus discussions. Commodore Bainimarama said the Forum member countries will also be informed about this decision. There is an audio file attached to this story. Bainimarama said the Secretary General of the Forum Secretariat should also take the blame for the exclusion of Fiji from the PACER Plus discussions. There is an audio file attached to this story. The Forum leaders only agreed to keep Fiji informed about the trade discussions but they had decided that Fiji should not participate in the negotiations. The leaders also called for political dialogue in Fiji between parties on the principles of genuine, inclusive dialogue without preconditions or predetermined outcomes.
