Fiji's judiciary is questionable says former VP

The Operation of the Judicial system in Fiji has come under the spotlight yet again. This time, former vice president Ratu Joni Madraiwiwi has revealed that there are certain issues dealt with by the Justice system could raise questions.“There are serious concerns about the way the courts operate in particular situations. I think in large parts, in terms of everyday administration of Justice in dealing with a garden of variety situations such as crime and in civil cases that appears to function smoothly. I think its in terms of constitutional issues and the legality of the present situation that there are concerns.” Ratu Joni who was speaking to Radio Australia, pointed out that the removal of former Chief Justice Daniel Fatiaki as an example of the questionable operations of the Justice system in Fiji
