Update: 4:39PM THE decision by interim PM not to have an election if there is no support for the Charter will not change the stance of the Cakaudrove province not to support the Charter.

Tui Cakaus spokesman Epeli Matata said the decision of the province not to support the Charter remains.

Tui Macuata Ratu Aisea says they will leave it to the people of Macuata to decide their support for the charter.

He has also stated that interim Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama and Laisenia Qarase should come to an amicable solution to help take Fiji forward.

Bua province will reach a decision about the Charter in its provincial meeting tomorrow.
